This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which students may request cancellations or refunds for admissions, courses, or services purchased through our website [www.gcaedu.org] or in person.
By enrolling in any program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms below.
2. Course Enrollment and Fees
All admissions and course registrations at Genesis Career Academy are subject to payment of applicable fees as mentioned in the course details or admission prospectus.
Fees once paid are non-transferable and are applicable only for the specific course and batch for which the student has enrolled.
3. Cancellation Policy
a. Cancellation by Student
Requests for cancellation must be made in writing via email to [insert academy email] or by submitting a written application at the academy office.
* Cancellations are considered only before the commencement of the course or within a specific time frame mentioned below.
Time of Cancellation Refund Eligibility
Within 7 days of fee payment and** before course 75% refund of total fees paid
commencement (25% deducted as administrative charge)
After 7 days of payment but before course start date 50% refund of total fees paid
After course commencement No refund will be issued
Note: Application fees, registration fees, or admission processing charges (if any) are non-refundable under all circumstances.
4. Cancellation by Genesis Career Academy
The Academy reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a course due to unforeseen circumstances (such as insufficient enrollments, faculty unavailability, or administrative reasons).
* In such cases, students will be offered:
* A full refund of fees paid, or
* The option to transfer to another available batch or course.
5. Refund Procedure
* Approved refunds will be processed within 15–30 working days from the date of refund approval.
* Refunds will be made through the same mode of payment used during registration (unless otherwise required).
* The student must provide valid bank details or UPI ID for electronic refunds if required.
6. No Refund Scenarios
No refunds will be provided in the following cases:
* If the student is expelled due to misconduct or violation of academy rules.
* If the student discontinues the course midway or fails to attend classes.
* If the student provides false or misleading information during admission.
* For non-attendance due to personal issues, relocation, or change of mind.
7. Online Course or Digital Material
For any online courses, workshops, or e-learning modules, refunds are not applicable once the student has received login credentials or accessed course materials.
8. Special Circumstances
In rare or genuine hardship cases (such as medical emergencies), refund requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis, subject to approval by the academy management.
Supporting documents (such as medical certificates) must be provided.
